Terms and Conditions of Use

2.1You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to register for or use the Platform.

2.2The Platform is intended for internationally trained healthcare professionals and other individuals exploring international healthcare career and relocation options. Registration does not confirm or imply that you are eligible for any specific licensing pathway, visa category, or Opportunity.

2.3By registering, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete, and you agree to promptly update such information if it changes.

2.4We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse registration, decline access, or suspend or terminate any Account where we reasonably believe a User has provided false or misleading information, or is otherwise in breach of these Terms.

3.1IHO-Hub is a subscription-based career-information and mobility-resource platform that provides internationally trained healthcare professionals with educational content, guides, checklists, templates, community access, webinars, and related resources concerning international relocation, professional licensing, and career pathways, together with course-progress tracking, file sharing, in-platform messaging with Admin, and notifications.

3.2IHO-Hub is affiliated with Vidan, an independent recruitment company. From time to time, Vidan and/or other third parties may share Opportunities through the Job Board, and eligible Members may receive priority notification of, or consideration for, such Opportunities depending on their Membership Plan.

3.3IHO-HUB IS NOT A RECRUITMENT AGENCY, EMPLOYMENT AGENCY, STAFFING AGENCY, IMMIGRATION CONSULTANCY, LAW FIRM, OR REGULATORY BODY. IHO-HUB DOES NOT ITSELF EMPLOY, PLACE, LICENSE, OR SPONSOR ANY USER, AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE EMPLOYMENT TO ANY USER.

5.1You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your Account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to, or use of, your Account.

5.2Each Account is personal to the registrant. You may not share your credentials with, or permit access by, any other person, and may not create or use more than one Account without our prior written consent.

5.3We may suspend or terminate your Account for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or misuse of the Platform.

6.1Current Membership Plans, their pricing, and their included features are described on the Platform and are incorporated into these Terms by reference. We may introduce, modify, or discontinue Membership Plans at our discretion.

6.2Paid Membership Plans provide access for a fixed term of twelve (12) months from the date of successful payment, after which your Membership Period will expire unless renewed.

6.3All fees are quoted in the currency displayed at checkout and are exclusive of applicable taxes, duties, or bank/processor charges unless expressly stated otherwise.

6.4Payments are processed by third-party payment processors, which may include Stripe and/or Paystack. We do not store your full payment card number or equivalent sensitive payment credentials on our servers.

6.5We may change Membership Plan pricing from time to time. Price changes will apply prospectively to future purchases and renewals and will not retroactively affect a Membership Period you have already paid for.

7.1Because Membership Plans provide immediate access to digital Educational Content upon payment, fees are generally non-refundable once a Membership Period has commenced and Content has been accessed, except as required by applicable consumer protection law.

7.2Refunds, where granted, are issued at our sole discretion or as required by applicable law, and will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable time.

7.3Admin may, at its discretion, manually extend, suspend, reactivate, or cancel a Member's Membership Period, including to correct billing errors or respond to a support request.

8.1Vidan is a separate and independent legal entity from IHO-Hub. IHO-Hub makes the Job Board available to display Opportunities shared by Vidan or other third parties, but does not control, endorse, verify, or guarantee any Opportunity, employer, or recruiter.

8.2Where you express interest in, or apply to, an Opportunity, we may share relevant profile information with Vidan as described in our Privacy Policy. IHO-Hub is not responsible for Vidan's or any other third party's subsequent handling of your application or personal information.

8.3You are solely responsible for exercising independent judgment and diligence in evaluating any Opportunity, including verifying the legitimacy of the employer or recruiter.

9.1You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant IHO-Hub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display such User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Services.

9.2You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to your User Content, and that it does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.

10.1The Platform, including its Content, software, design, trademarks (including the “IHO-Hub” name and logo), and all related intellectual property, is owned by or licensed to IHO-Hub. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

10.2Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Content for your personal, non-commercial use during your active Membership Period.

10.3You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, or exploit any Content for commercial purposes, except for downloadable resources expressly designated as available for your personal retention and use.

11.1The Platform integrates or links to third-party services, including video hosting (e.g., YouTube), payment processing (e.g., Stripe, Paystack), and communication channels such as WhatsApp.

11.2Your use of any third-party service is subject to that provider's own terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible or liable for the availability, content, or practices of any third-party service.

13.1THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

13.2Educational Content is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, immigration, licensing, medical, financial, or other professional advice. You should independently verify current requirements with the relevant regulatory body, embassy, or government authority before relying on any Content.

13.3We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

14.1TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IHO-HUB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

14.2To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

14.3Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

16.1These Terms take effect when you first accept them and continue to apply for as long as you maintain an Account or use the Platform.

16.2We may suspend or terminate your Account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or unlawful conduct, or misused the Platform.

16.3You may close your Account at any time by contacting us; closure does not entitle you to a refund except as set out in Section 7.

17.1These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

17.2Before commencing formal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through informal negotiation by providing written notice and allowing thirty (30) days for resolution.

17.3If a dispute is not resolved informally, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023 (Nigeria), seated in Abuja, Nigeria, conducted in the English language.

18.1By checking the applicable acceptance box(es) during registration, you provide your electronic signature and affirmatively consent to conduct this transaction electronically. You agree that such electronic acceptance is valid, binding, and enforceable to the same extent as a physical signature on a paper document.

18.2You consent to receive all agreements, notices, and other communications that we provide in connection with these Terms electronically, including by email or through in-app notification.
